Senior spotlight: Hannah Brown Class of 2024
Hannah had me at “I play the violin.” I was like OMG this is going to be so much fun! I love it when people incorporate their passions. Especially ones you can photograph in a dramatic setting like the Maryland Theater! I had her play the violin during her session while I took some of the images (even though I could have had her just pretend the whole time) and she plays sooo beautifully 🥹 Enjoy her interview and dramatic theater images including the one of her playing the violin in front of the theater that was featured in The Suits and Dresses issue of Senior Luxe Magazine!

About the future…
You’re done with high school, what is your next move? I plan on going to college to obtain a music education degree and begin teaching high school orchestra!
What do you hope to be doing in the next 5 years and where? I hope to be teaching an orchestra in a highschool around Maryland or Virginia! I also hope to have my dream dog, a golden retriever, and be in a house with lots of land and flowers! That sounds so nice (insert sigh of daydreaming happiness)
What’s the number one world issue you would solve if you could? I wish things would become affordable to everyone such as housing, schooling, healthcare and other lifestyle necessities that cost a fortune right now.
What is your dream career (even if it’s just a dream) ? I used to want to be a race car driver but it’s a little to dangerous… Wow! I did not expect that one!

Pretend money ain’t no thang- where are you gonna go on vacation right now? IM GOING TO FRANCE OR ITALY! Or Bora Bora depending on if It’s an over the water room or not!
You can only eat one thing for the rest of your life. What’s it gonna be? Chicken Critter salad with extra ranch and no tomatoes or eggs from Texas Roadhouse - Love the specificity!
If your pet could talk, what do you think they might say about you? I don’t have a pet currently right now but I hope that my golden retriever in the future would say I’m a pretty good at organizing all his treats and toys 😂
What is your proudest (maybe not biggest) accomplishment so far: My proudest accomplishment so far would be making it through High School in one piece! I’m also proud that I was recognized as a good citizen for the Daughters of the American Revolution Award and being seen for all my hard work and dedication I have for music and academics.
Any obscure talents? Most people don’t know that I can move both my eyebrows on their own! I NEED to see this! Video?
What’s a skill you don’t have but want to learn? I want to learn how to properly snowboard on a big mountain! I have a feeling you are going to make this one happen.
